And when this is applied to the online market, where selling is traditionally done by sales pages, on which it is difficult to incorporate warmth, trust, and credibility, the teleseminar really takes the connection between the seller and the potential buyer (prospect) to a higher level, and helps facilitate buyer (hence the higher conversion rate).

Another reason why teleseminars can produce such high conversion rates has to do with the screen and filtering process that occurs via the process of setting up a teleseminar.

You see, with a teleseminar, not just everyone is going to listen to it, which is different than with most sales pages.

There are a few qualifying hoops.

1) Someone must register for the call

2) Someone must show up for the call at a specified time

3) Generally, someone must dial into the call, using their own long distance expenses (which generally increases conversion rates due to the qualification involved there).

Between these two mechanisms (and of course others, these are the big ones), teleseminars can generate extremely high conversion rates.

1.) Determine a hot target market. Look for what people are passionate about and will spend money on. Strive to find a market place with money. (People have money and spend it.)

8.) Sequence of marketing pieces includes emails that are reminders. Send A LOT of email.

9.) Record the teleseminar. Offer it for download online for a price.

10.) Conduct an encore teleseminar a week later using a recording of the teleseminar.

11.) Run first teleseminar in the afternoon. Run the second teleseminar in the evening. This is varying schedule works well for different time zones around the world.

12.) Generate teleseminar participants via mail order post cards. Repeat the process if it is successful.

13.) Use different toll free number to take orders from joint venture partners. For online order you can just use the different Joint Venture affiliate numbers.

14.) Shoot for a large number of teleseminar attendees. 400-500 may seem like a lot, but strive to have 1,000 people on the call at once. 8-15% is a normal conversion rate as far as buying products.

15.) Test your teleseminar by modifying parts of the recorded teleseminar. You can change the offer, script, etc. and test it. You can buy audio modification software at Office Depot.

This screening device effectively eliminates all tire kickers who are unwilling to spend any money at all to learn from you (if someone is unwilling to pay the long distance on a telecall is he or she going to be willing to pay you for coaching? ? doubtless). This means that the people on your calls tend to be much more highly qualified prospects, and in and of itself, increases the conversion rate on your telecalls.

The next reason why teleseminar attendees convert so well to product purchases is that they get to connect with you live and hear your voice.

This is important, as one of two things happen when they hear your voice: they are either drawn closer to you, or they are repelled ? they draw away from you. And either of those scenarios is actually a good thing (unless of course, too many are repelled, then that is another issue that needs to be rectified).

The reason that the repelling is a good thing is that it gets the people who would not have become long term clients, off your list and out of your system.

And the reason that people being drawn to you is a good thing is of course that they develop more trust. You see, when they hear your voice, and they believe what you say, your credibility goes way up, and trust and credibility are huge factors in selling.
